SIS30619 Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership is the entry level qualification needed to lead groups of participants in outdoor recreation activities.
If you are interested in gaining qualifications to work in the Outdoor Recreation/Education industry this may be the course for you.
The course consists of 9 core units and 13 elective units completed by attending at least 2 Activity Specialisation areas. Our current training courses are in Bushwalking, Canoeing and Artificial Climbing.
If you already have extensive experience in the guiding people in the outdoors and are currently working in an outdoor recreation environment, you may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to obtain all or part of SIS30619 Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership. SIS30619 Certificate III in Outdoor Leadership will provide you with the skills you need to lead groups in the outdoors. The volume of learning for a Certificate III is typically one to two years according to the Australian Qualifications Framework.
This course is made up of self paced online training, and face-to-face training and assessment weekends.
