This course may be delivered by Environmental Education Centres across Queensland. It can be delivered one day per week or in blocks of learning over 1 – 2 years.

AHC31516 Certificate III in Indigenous Land Management provides a vocational outcome required for an Indigenous land worker operating within Aboriginal Communities, following Community protocols and using a mix of traditional and contemporary land management strategies.

The course covers:

  • Restoring and maintaining natural and cultural sites
  • Australian Indigenous knowledge of Country
  • Identifying plants and animals
  • Work Health and Safety
  • Environmentally sustainable work practices
